| Wood Shield is made by the
oldest Myrtlewood Factory on the Oregon Coast.
It is made specifically for the care of Myrtlewood, but also works well on other fine, crafted hardwood items. It can be used to restore older and well worn pieces to protect existing products, or as a finish coat for all of your new works. It is non-toxic, food safe, and a wax based product. It is applied by hand, like paste wax, rubbing it well into the wood. Wipe off excess and then polish to a luster. Items to be used for food service should be washed in soap and water before use. As a reminder, finished Myrtlewood should not be allowed to stand in water, or be put in the microwave, or dishwasher. Care for your Myrtlewood and she will care for you.
